Usually, templates have been supplied in three file types - as a Word, PowerPoint and HTML file. The templates have been formatted minimally to facilitate easier user customisation. Elements of any template can be combined to suit individual needs. In some instances, there are examples which can be viewed to gain ideas as to how the templates can be used. These examples may not strictly follow the layout/order of the respective templates as these have been designed with user customisation in mind. The examples match the .Victorian Essential Learning Standards and support the .Principles of Learning and Teaching.
The HTML files can be integrated into any library website, school network and/or free space on the Internet to enable 24/7 access by teachers and students. However, due to the complexities of Internet protocols, this will most likely require the involvement of the school's IT specialist and this should be discussed with him/her early on in the implementation process.
